The latest on the Wireds:
September 10, 2004
Matt pointed out that we hadn't had an update in awhile. I swear I've written volumes for this page lately ... must be the bourbon. Anyhow, the gig page is up-to-date with pictures from our last two Maple Grove shows. Nothing on the schedule at the moment, mainly due to impending Tiki parturition. We are taking this pause to consider our recording options. Suggestions? Let us know.

Thanks to all who came out for drinking by candlelight at the Maple Grove! We played flawlessly. If you weren't there, then you were probably in the realm of light. Check out the pics. Thanks to Nick we are rescheduled with Goiter Jelly on Saturday, July 24 -- stay tuned for more details.

OK, the Maple Grove gig is on Friday May 21. That's 21. We'll be playing first for Morticia's Chair and Goiter Jelly. Be sure to ask Matthew about the Appalachian Death March ... and Jay about his L.A. visit ... and Russ about the latest fruit of Industrialism.

Check out the new Songs page, as requested by our adoring fans. The Totally Wired: The Band That Listens. Note that the lyrics and listen links don't work yet, but I'm working on that. I also need to snag Jay's notebook if I'm going to get his lyrics.
In other news, we have the first postpartum gig lined up: Maple Grove, Friday, May 21. Be there or be somewhere else (in some depressingly totally unwired placed, no doubt).
A very happy birthday to Princess Brenna for Friday! The big oh-one! It's all downhill from there, baby ...

Hooray! Another Wirette joins the fold. Jay and Denise gave birth to Quinn Sargent this morning at three something. Jay is floating about in paternal bliss, as all new fathers should. But Jay says he's also ready to rock, so look for new gig news soon.

Another successful gig at the Maple Grove last Friday. Thanks to Bluto's for following us with an excellent set ... look for another Bluto's/TTW gig in the future. And thanks to Hybrid Factor (no, not Hydrogear) for some of the best entertainment I've enjoyed in quite awhile. Be sure to check out the review of the Annabell's show on the Utter Trash website. Our first official review, I believe. Here's the link.

Happy New Year!! OK, so it's been a while since the last update. This HTML stuff is a snooze. Anyone want to volunteer as Webmaster/Webmistress? Seriously ... contact us at mail@thetotallywired.com

Don't miss the coolest rock-and-roll holiday event of the year, as we take the stage at the Maple Grove with Missle Toe and The Masons. If I don't get an update out before then: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Hoppy New Year, too ... mmmm ... beer.
November 1, 2003
Finally our chance to play the Beachland! Our big break ... talent scouts will be everywhere ... right. Anyhow, come, check it out, and enjoy the real talents of Pleasure Club.

Hooray! We have a ClePunk page!

Well, the web site has been propped up a bit. Still very minimal, but as Matthew says, "we have content"! I added the flier for the No Excuses gig which you saw on the way in, and added a bit more info and map link for the gig, which you can read about here.

Good news! We have a gig! It's on August 2 at No Excuses, on Lorain Road in North Olmsted, just west of Great Northern Mall. In fact, I believe it is the closest bar to Wired West. I've been there to shoot pool and drink, but I don't think I've been there since they've been having bands. You can find more info on the gig page here.

We turned in the eight track version of the demo for WRUW's Studio-A-Rama. If anyone on the selection committee is reading this, please contact us to name your bribe. For anyone else, if you are not hip to WRUW and Studio-A-Rama, check it out.

The Totally Wired is alive and kicking again after a small hiatus due to Dr. & Mrs. Barman having a beautiful baby girl.
April 12, 2003
Mastered two versions of the demo off the Roland, which will have to do for now. Some the impending birth of my child is preoccupying me.

Well, here we are. We have a website, even if it's only running on my laptop. We've wrapped up recording of a demo in the basement on the Roland hard disk recorder -- fortunately Shawn lent us some decent microphones, including the very kick ass Rode vocal mike, or it would be very Realistic. We hope it is good enough to get us a gig or two.
